EPDM (Ethylene Proplene Diene Monomer) - Is an extremely durable synthetic rubber single ply roofing membrane widely used in commercial buildings in the United Sates and world wide. It is comprise of two primary ingredients, ethylene and proplyene, which are derived from oil and natural gas. EPDM is also available in both black and white. It can be installed either fully adhered, mechanically attached or ballasted, with the seams of the roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or formulated tapes.
TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) - TPO single ply membranes are produced by lamination with extrusion or extrusion-coating techniques. TPO sheets are a blend of polyproylene and ethylene proplyene polymers and are usually are reinforced with polyester. These sheets contain colorant, flame retardants, ultra violent absorbents and other substances to achieve its physical properties. TPO sheets may vary in widths and thickness depending on requirements.
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) - Is synthetic plastic made from polymerization of vinyl chloride. PVC sheets contain plasticizers and stabilizers, as well as other additives to impart flexibility. These sheets may also vary in width and thickness. PVC single ply membranes are produced in numerous colors, where gray and white are the most common.
